May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month

Having been a true individualist since I can remember. I've never been one to follow causes that create more fear and/or are strongly focused on the very thing they are trying to eliminate. When I decided to affiliate my company with the Skin Cancer Foundation it was more about wanting to give back. So, I decided the best cause to join would be one related to skin protection, and in this case it's the Skin Cancer Foundation.

What didn't sit well with me was that I was going against my own philosophy. Focusing on anything whether wanted or not is including it in your vibration, and since we are all energy (vibration) then I choose to focus my awareness on anything not about skin cancer. So how do I do this without creating fear? Well, spreading knowledge that could truly benefit others doesn't have to about the unwanted aspect of it, but rather the parts of it that are good.

So, going back to my individualist perspective...you are all individuals. I am simply wanting my fellow bloggers to know that I wish to spread only that which is in alignment with healthy skin. With that, there is a lot of helpful information and articles that I will share with this in mind. What I want you to remember as you read these articles, is that you may get skin cancer OR NOT...but one thing I hope for you as I do for me is that we align to that which is good for us, and find our alignment to those things that bring us joy and happiness.

In the case of my company, we at Malibu Spray Tan wish you to have beautiful radiant skin. We wish you health and wellbeing. Use suncreen whenever possible! AND stay out of the sun!

  1. Hey Jessica, nice post. I agree that over-thinking issues that need to be thought of present difficult, negative and sometimes unneeded hindrances in life. However, I do believe in action and believe that aligning oneself with positive organizations like the Skin Cancer Foundation is not so much a fear strategy or negative energy but more of an acceptance that skin cancer does exist and affects millions. Since everyone loves the sun, we do continually need research, time and resources to find more effective, pervasive solutions for prevention and treatment. I didn't know you were an entrepreneur! I know what a challenge it is ... BigUp from one entrepreneur to the next. Keep doing a great job!
